ABP is currently on hold for 2007, however we are considering scripts and ideas for 2008!

Breaking with the tradition of a single feature-length play, for 2008 the Aeon Babylon Players are considering the idea of showcasing a selection of short "Tavern Plays" performed in...you guessed it...a tavern setting, that will be located in the Daos encampment!

Please send original works or fun adaptions of well-known tales to the Grand Inquisitor via email. Tavern Plays must be 10 minutes or less in length with a minimum of characters/sets/props required. There is the possibility that these plays will be performed in the round.

Calling Performers!

Do you sing?
Play a period instrument?
Spin a good yarn?
Juggle ferrets? (especially this one)

The tavern atmosphere will be enhanced by the addition of a variety of talents! Contact the Grand Inquisitor to present your idea for your moment in the spotlight!

Extemporanium!

Performed irregularly in the Daos Encampment after dark.

Join the wild abandon of improvisational comedy! All are welcome to participate in this sometimes bawdy, often hilarious game of changing scenes and characters.

These shows are, naturally, of various ratings. However, they are generally never suggested for children. Most participants will be well into their third or fourth mug and there is a history of accidental trouser loss....
